It was quite an overwhelming day! But exciting, nonetheless. The flight from NYC to Seoul was almost a total of 18 hours. It felt like my life skipped from Tuesday right to Thursday. But that is okay! My friend and I (with the help of her student buddy) arrived safely at the dorms and settled in.
We had kimbap and rabokki for lunch.
I think the dorms are extremely nice and comfy.
Since I cannot speak Korean, communication is definitely a struggle.
For dinner, we were not adventurous enough to try to order from a Korean menu. So, we (my friend and I) settled for Subway. But it was still a struggle because the Korean guy making our sandwich and us, could not understand each other. They ended up pulling their phone out to use a translator! It was a cute yet embarrassing moment.

…and that was my first day!
